Dr. Kortum is one of the friendliest professors in BME. She's very approachable. She gives extra credit for wearing the class shirt to class, which is always good. Physiology is physiology, so it's going to have a certain level of difficulty. This review really won't matter in a year, since she's moving to Rice, however.
