By a student who took ASL 507
Most people loved Franky. However, she (like many of the ASL profs) has her favorites. Unfortunately for some, this reflects in her grading. I had her for 2 semesters and really got into her good graces- so her having favorites worked to my advantage. She is an awesome person and teacher and really makes you understand and care about deaf culture. The tests seemed a bit easier if you had her the first semester. If you had someone else the first semester she may seem hard- but everyone agrees that if you want to really learn sign, then you should take her.
