A majority of the class dropped after the first mid-term. She gave no direction or help as far as reviewing for the exams. She was very unclear on what she expected from you. I wish I had been one of the people who had dropped the class. I went to her office hours several times and she seemed very apathetic to my problems. She is the WORST professor I have had in all 3 and a half years that I've been at UT! DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS~!| Overall Opinion | |

Do not take this class unless you are very knowledgeable in analyzing pieces of literature. I had a B in this class and the professor tried to convince me to Q-Drop it... On the first test, there was 1 A, 4 Bs, 6 or 8 Cs, and the rest were F's - in a class of about 20 people. I would not recommend this professor at all. From what I have heard, she's tenured so she doesn't really care how your grades end up looking. Just don't do it.
