How does Collegevine Direct Admissions Work?

I read tons of articles about Direct Admissions but I'm still very confused. Would I have to publish my profile in order to get Direct Admissions? One of the articles also mentioned how Direct Admission offers only come in the month of June for rising seniors or something. I know what it is but I'm not sure how it works. Can someone tell me how it works, when students usually get Direct Admissions offer?? They mentioned some kind of admission cycle and I'm very confused. Any information would be helpful, Thanks.
