I would like to go to Harvard business school
I would be applying for financial aid
I live out of state
What should I do to boost my chances?
I think all you have left to do is to gain leadership roles in your school. Be mindful to not overwhelm yourself in pursuit of these leadership roles.
It sounds like you're probably applying to college and not graduate school, so I just want to note that Harvard Business School is not open to undergraduates. (It's a graduate-only program.)
I'm not sure what your unweighted GPA is, but the closer to a 4.0, the better. In general, a big extracurricular "spike" (an area in which you've demonstrated exceptional achievements), strong essays, an near-perfect grades and SAT/ACT scores are a good place to start. For more detailed advice, I'd recommend that you check out our "Ultimate Guide to Elite Admissions" livestreams (for example: https://www.collegevine.com/livestreams/83/the-ultimate-guide-to-elite-college-admissions) and our blog post on getting into Harvard here: https://blog.collegevine.com/what-does-it-really-take-to-get-into-harvard/. I may also do a "How to Get Into Harvard" livestream sometimes soon!
