Hi there @arrdasahinn,

Great question! Admissions officers who are assigned to your region will be familiar with your high school's policies. Therefore, it shouldn't be a detriment to your application if you don't have AP and IB coursework, as long as your transcript demonstrates academic success in the most rigorous courses possible at your school.

Adding on to Priya's response, the admissions counselors will be familiar with where you are applying from, meaning they'll know it doesn't have AP/IB courses and so they won't expect that of you. However, showing that you challenged yourself at school by taking harder classes or doing classes outside of the school, or any extracurriculars, etc will greatly strengthen your application. A high GPA never hurts either.
