Harvard prospective students

What if I'm applying to schools abroad that have deadlines for enrollment before 03/31?
Answered

I'm an international student from Brazil anxiously waiting for 03/31 and Harvard's decision. However, knowing Harvard accepts less than 10 Brazilians every year, I'm also waiting for my Brazilian universities applications results, which will come out 02/22. Since my school year is different, the enrollment deadline will come earlier than my Harvard decision. If I get in here, would it be okay if I enrolled while waiting for Harvard? If I get into Harvard after that it would be easy to just cancel my enrollment here, but I don't know if this could jeopardize anything in the future.

It would be perfectly fine for you to enroll in a federal or private Brazilian university while waiting for your Harvard decision. After you have applied for American universities and they have received your official high school transcript, you are not required to submit any additional academic information. Hope this helps!
