What can I add to make my application standout?
Answered

Hi, I'm currently moving into high school junior and would just like to know about what can I add into my application to make it standout for Harvard and top tier colleges.

Academics:

1. 4.0 unweighted GPA,

2. Our school does not offers AP or IB courses, but I have taken some of the most rigorous classes offered to us,

3. Planning to take SAT and Score 1550+.

Extra Curriculars:

1. Played Table Tennis at the state level 3 times,

2. Directed our school football team,

3. Was elected as our school representative for debate competition,

4. Runs a blog for students and have 500+ followers,

5. Top athlete of our school.

6. Was 3rd in NSO in school in a class of 250(8th ,9th ,10 grade)

Here are some things you should add:

1. More ECs the are Tier 1 or 2, i.e. at the state level and ideally above

2. More ECs that relate to your spike

3. Write stellar essays like these

Hope this helps!
