I'm a sophmore in highschool, and I'm quite unsure on whether schools like Harvard look at your PSAT score and if we fail are we able to retake it? Also how should I motivate myself to study for it? Especially when there are topics I haven't learnt yet.
Harvard will not care about your PSAT score, since the only standardized tests used in the admissions process are the SAT and ACT. With that said, doing well enough on the PSAT to become a National Merit Semifinalist, Finalist, or Commended Scholar will give you a solid award to put in your Common App Honors section.
If you feel that the PSAT is challenging at the moment, I would recommend taking the SAT instead starting your junior year. Hope this helps!
