Harvard and other prestigious colleges care more about your transcript. This is because your transcript gives them a more complete picture of your academic performance in a wide array of subjects, including the subjects that are related to your major of interest. Standardized test scores mainly show your ability to learn in general as well as your mastery of the core subjects of your high school education.
