need advice!!

I'm not sure what college is the best fit for me and it feels very overwhelming with the number of colleges I could potentially apply to. How do I differentiate colleges from one another when they all have such good programs and seem promising? (I'm currently a junior with a GPA of 3.5) I honestly just need help.

That was hard for me too, and honestly, I still have a big list, but I think I can help you break it down a little. Do you want to go to a certain type of school, all-women's, all-men's, HBCU, ivy league, etc.? If you do then that narrows your search already, but if not, keep going. Next, look at location. I thought I would be willing to go anywhere, but when I realized I'd rather go to an HBCU, I searched in the states where they have them, so mostly on the East Coast of America. Next, look at their programs and degrees, do they even have anything that you would like? Look to see if they are a good school for what you're looking for; for example, if you want to be an actor, but you apply to a business school with a small theatre program, you won't be as benefitted as you would if you went to a school of the arts. Also look at cost, in-state and out-of-state fees are different as well as public and private universities, at least in America. Good luck and at the very least, you could always do eeny-meeny-miny-moe.(I'm joking, please do not do that.)
