Hi! I'm a current junior and I am actually taking both of these classes!

AP lang is a lot of reading and writing. Many of the activities we do in my class are similar to things you do in a normal English setting, just at a faster pace. We do write a lot of essays, so if you aren't very confident in your writing I might stay away from this class.

AP psych is a lot of note taking and memorization. You have to learn about all the parts of the brain, different studies, different people, and overall it's just a lot of learning. There are a bunch of units, and again, lots of note taking. If memorization is your strong suit definitely take this class.

For me, I strongly prefer AP lang. I think the class has helped me improve my writing skills. The format is also very similar to the English section of the SAT. AP psych is an interesting class, but there's a lot going on. So if you have to chose I'd go with AP lang!

Hope this helps and feel free to ask any questions!
