ED 1 or ED 2?

I'm planning on applying to some extremely competitive schools next year. I know one in particular that I want to apply Early Decision to, but I'm worried that I won't have all the materials I need. I'm pretty happy with my ACT score, and I'm retaking the SAT later this year, but I'm also doing a senior capstone project that most likely won't be completed until my second semester next year. I want to be able to submit my capstone as supplementary material, especially because it relates so heavily to my intended major, but I've heard that ED 1 has higher acceptance rates than ED 2. I may be able to submit the capstone later, though. I've sent an email to my regional admissions rep asking about it, but in the meantime, any advice?

On the occasion that you get deferred/waitlisted you should definitely send in your capstone. Otherwise I think you should try ED 1(btw you can only apply to one school ED, so make sure to choose wisely)
