I'm a sophomore taking my first AP next year, which is APES. I have a 3.78 unweighted GPA and I'm planning on taking Honors Molecular Bio and Honors Spanish 3.
I'm taking that class right now. It's quite time consuming with textbook readings and frequent tests and quizzes to study for. But, it's quite interesting! Be prepared to take at least 1-2 quizzes/tests every month, since it is very fast paced. The information is not impossible to grasp, but the tests are definitely difficult. Hope this helped!
What I have heard from people taking the class is that while the coursework may be easy, the tests are difficult. All AP's will be hard in one way or another - so just be sure to put in the time to study and you should do alright :)
I'm in the class currently. Personally, I don't think it's a difficult class. It's more tedious than anything. It has a lot of written discussions and a decent amount of labs that are usually straightforward but time consuming.
