SATs vs GPA

Hey, y'all!

I have my SATs this Wednesday (cue the dramatic music) and the nerves have started kicking in. I've been studying a lot but I'm honestly not sure how much I've improved. I got 1210 on my PSAT, and I believe that translates into 1310 in SAT scores, but I wish I could get closer to 1400 (lofty, I know). I've been using Khan academy religiously but I feel a bit stuck. So I'm starting to wonder: do you think that my 4.0 GPA could uphold an SAT score under 1400 for more competitive colleges? I'm open to hearing anything, just wanted to start a conversation.

I think that SAT is more important than GPA. While your GPA is important, there’s PLENTY of students that have 4.0s so you’re gonna have to distinguish yourself elsewhere either through your SAT or in college essays. This goes for most competitive colleges.
