Course Load for 12th grade

tryna go into cognitive science/ neuroscience and aiming for like Rice, Princeton, etc and these are the classes I’m thinking of for first semester of senior year

- AP Lit

- AP stats

- AP bio

- AP human geo

- logic & semantics honors (1st semester)

- foundations of programming honors OR anatomy honors (need help deciding)

2nd semester in place of logic & semantics, I’d dual enroll with UF for abnormal psyche

This summer I’m thinking of taking intro to psyche and Astronomy (I find it interesting lol) thru outlier

I’m mostly wondering if I should take honors anatomy or foundation to programming honors. Also, should I take calc 1 online this summer as well? Or should I just chill & volunteer more

If you want to hone in on the medical programs at your colleges, I assume anatomy would be a pretty clear decision. Yet I also think programming is a pretty sought-after skill by many colleges that could be good to have if you want a more broad appeal. Both have their own advantages. I'm a junior as well- but I know that senioritis can hit really hard. I would choose one that you think you're going to genuinely enjoy going to on a regular basis.

Calc is cool- if you want to push yourself this summer, go for the class. If you would rather be more engaged in the community, choose to do so.
