Rising Junior class selection

Hi All! Thanks in advance for sharing your experience/advices.

I'm a rising junior and have an interest in pre-med. I haven't taken any physics but H Chemistry only. Having hard time deciding between AP Bio and AP Chemistry. I plan also to have AP Cal AB (school requires this prior to BC.

Thank you!

I think that you should choose AP Bio over AP Chemistry, but you should choose AP Chemistry over AP Calc AB if possible. Biology is the foundation of many of the classes you will take for pre-med, so it is important to demonstrate a strong interest and understanding of advanced biology concepts. At the same time, AP Chem is the next best class because chemistry is intertwined in advanced biology. Hope this helps!

Thank you so much! That's very helpful. Now we are planning to do AP Bio and AP Cal AB and then AP chem and AP Cal BC and Stats next year (senior). Also adding H Physics for senior year as well.
