How exactly does Vet school work
Answered

I am planning on attending some sort of Vet school in the next two years, however I’m a little confused on how it works. I think I have it mostly figured out, but I really would like to make sure.

If I were to, theoretically, attend ASU and major in Biology, receiving my bachelor, could I then attend UC Davis Vet school and get my DVM/PhD?

This CollegeVine blog post breaks down the steps to take to become a vet. Your general idea of attending ASU and then UC Davis Vet school is correct.

One other thing to think about is gaining experience working with animals, which will help your undergrad and grad applications. Many people volunteer at shelters, which is certainly a valuable experience to have. Something that could make you stand out even more would be reaching out to farmers or agricultural vets (if they don't live too far away) and asking if you could assist them voluntarily. Hope this helps!
