Where do I start?

Hi,

I was wondering what other classes I need to take in order continue my journey to become a Pediatric nurse. I've taken Biology and Chemistry, and is currently taking AP Bio. I've already taken Health Science, and I am currently taking Anatomy and Physiology and Medical Terminology. What other classes do I need to take senior year too continue my journey? How do I get in contact with local hospitals for internships?

Hello! Depending on the school you attend and what programs they offer, you may need to get in contact with your guidance counselor to discuss. Different schools have different programs. If you are interested in taking higher level college courses, you may be able to enroll in dual enrollment through a local university or community college in your area, to get those college credits completed during your junior and senior year. As for getting in contact with hospitals for internships, it just takes a simple phone call to the department! Look around at the hospitals around your area and which one(s) you would be interested in doing an internship with. Don't be afraid!
