Do you need work experience for college applications?
Answered

Many people say that colleges like work experience. Does it also count if you do an internship non-paid? Is having work experience necessary?

Hi! Although having a variety of activities looks good, work experience is not a requirement. Non-paid internships are great! What matters most is how much time you dedicate to the extracurricular, how much you contribute to it, and how you grow through that experience, so it’s best to choose internships / jobs in which you can grow (position wise) and work for a longer time (2 months or more).
