not to be depressing but my junior year has been very bad my 1st quarter grades are absolutely terrible to the point i do not think any of my schools will accept me i do not know what to do should i just give up my gpa is really bad and there no way but only by God i can get into any school i want
It's not the end of the world if you don't get into your top choice school(s). GPA is not the only factor in applications. There's a lot of people with perfect GPAs that don't get into their top choices. You can make up through other things.
Moreover, there's always the option of transferring later on.
Giving up never solves anything.
that is very true thank you for the reminder sometimes we can all be very hard on yourselves but at the end of the day it giving up does not solve anything
I don’t think having a bad GPA is the end of the world. You can get a great education basically anywhere you go! Whether you want to go Ivy, Out-of-State, state school, or community college, remember that.
And sometimes, college may not be the right option for you! I’m reminded of the game LIFE. You can choose to go to college, it’s not a requirement for being a successful adult. Plenty of incredibly well-paid jobs are fulfilled by people that don’t have a degree!
Whatever happens, you just need to remember that grades can mean nothing in the long-run. Make sure you know that they don’t define how worthy you are of an education, a job, or happiness.
Hey I’m a junior struggling this year myself. This may not be super helpful but I just wanna say you’re not alone and we’re gonna get through this together.
thank you this is very helpful knowing Im not alone
still do have cumulative gpa of a 4.00 Im a little dramatic but must schools want 4.4 minimum gpas
