will getting an B- AP calc AB impact my chance into UW applied math course?

I'm current junior who's take AP calc AB. My current grade is a B- in that course and my chances of getting it up are slim and I'm scared that another B will seriously impact my GPA (especially since it's junior AND i'm planning on going in applied math: data science in UW). I'm really stressed out and lowkey scared that I won't get into UW (this is only only college I can "afford")

I doubt the B would severely impact your GPA if it's weighted. Since it's an AP class, most colleges are understanding that it's difficult so this could give you a pass. If you can't raise your grade in your AP Calc class, make sure that the other classes you take are A's. It would be extremely helpful if your other classes comprise of other AP classes and honor classes.

UW is a competitive college, so while grades are super important, you have to make sure your extracurriculars and essays are up to par too. You could also try to make sure your extracurriculars and essays are the best to make up your B.

what do you think would be a UW student's stats? I personally do not think I'm doing enough

Did you take AP exam? I think school would bump your grade by one letter if you get 5 on AP exam.
