What should juniors be doing?

I'm currently a junior in high school and our school counselors are letting us to know to start preparing for college. Aside from taking the SAT and keeping my grades up this year, what should I, as a junior, be doing to start preparing for college?

Aside from preparing for the SAT and stuff like that, it would help if you also started brainstorming your college admission essay. A website like this can help you start: https://www.commonapp.org/apply/essay-prompts

Also, apply for scholarships!

I'm a junior now, and I'd recommend doing service based project/getting your service hours up so you can create a more well rounded profile, and apply for scholarships now so you can get as many as you can.
