Scholarships and Applications?

What are good places to look for scholarships and applications? When should we start applying to colleges? I'm beginning my second semester of Junior year and fear I'm already behind on scholarships. I need as much as I can get because I will rely heavily on scholarship money to fund my tuition. I'm unsure where to find applications to apply to colleges as well as where to find scholarships. Also, what are tips for applying to both?

Hey there @Bipotato7506!

You should be able to start applying for scholarships now/soon, and definitely over summer break. At my school (which is a college prep school, so I'm not sure if this is true for everywhere), juniors are required to take 'College Classes' in the second semester to learn about how to apply for colleges, scholarships, etc. Before you go on summer break (which I know is a while from now), make sure to talk to your college counselor about scholarships and applications. Early Applications for some schools start in, like, November, so once you get back to school next year, things will move pretty quickly. You should also be able to look up scholarships on Google for some general ideas to start looking at.

I hope this helped, and good luck with everything!
