2 B's impact my chances at UW and UC berkeley?

I got a B during my freshman year in AP hug and now I will have a B in AP calc junior year. I'm scared that thi will impact my GPA and will ruin my chances of getting into UW applied math data science and UC berkeley's data science. Will this seriously impact my chances or should I be good? I HAVE to get into UW as it is the only uni I can currently afford to go to (both with money and time and other conditions)

wat should i do?

The B in AP Human probably won’t matter much because it’s freshman year. I’d have to ask what the average GPA is at Berkeley and UW, but they will do their own calculations for GPA, most likely. I wouldn’t worry too much about a B in Calc, but make sure that this semester you shoot for an A; colleges love it when you show improvement.

I hope this helps!

It depends on how your AP classes are weighted in your school, for example, my school has a 1.25 weighting, so my 82 grade in AP Lang went into my GPA as a 100ish, if your school has something similar to that then you should be ok. Also colleges will see your transcripts, so having a B in AP Calc as a junior is impressive.

my school actually doesn't do weighted GPA and my current unweighted GPA is 3.97. How much would another B bring it down?
