Hey there @ymca223344!

Having a few 'safety schools' (with high chances of acceptance) and one or two 'reach schools' (where you have a very low chance of acceptance) are both good, but ideally you should have a few 'match schools' that you have about a 50-60% of being accepted into. If you don't get into any of your 'reaches,' you might want some 'match' schools to try before your 'safeties.' CollegeVine can help you curate a list of schools in each of the three categories. Each school you add to your list will show up as one of the three groups. You should generally aim to have around 4 'match' schools.

Good luck!

Try some 50% - 75% acceptance rate colleges.

You should aim for a target school that is around 30 percent acceptance rate

30% acceptance rate is still a reach in most cases
