Should I take AP Gov and AP Macro next year?
My schools offers go/po and macro, but the issue is that the teachers who teach it make the class unnecessarily hard. I also want to go to Cal Poly Humboldt so those two classes might not be that important.
Hello there, I would consider taking US Gov as it is an easy AP even though some teachers might feel the need to complicate it. Most universities expect students to take AP Gov if it is offered at a school so they know their students know about their government and country but it is not a requirement of course. As of for AP macro, it is already a hard class, more if teachers make it difficult for you so I would recommend you do not take it. At the end of the day, it is up to you, just think if the benefit surpasses the disadvantages or not. I hope this helps!
