What should I choose?

I'm still unsure of what I want to do in college, making it hard to decide which colleges to pursue. All the tests I've taken have told me different things, so now I'm even more confused. How do I find what I want to go to school for?

It might take a while, some people don’t even find their career UNTIL they go to college. What do you do in your free time that you enjoy? How can you make a career out of it? Once you find that out, research how many jobs are in that industry, how much money you make, etc.

It took a really long time for me to decide a career as well, I only decided a few months ago I wanted to pursue Computer Science. You have no rush, take your time, and good luck :)

For me, I took time to sit down and think about what I like doing and find interesting in every day life. After I got a coherent set of ideas, I went to google and started searching for jobs that mostly went along with what I liked and found interesting. For me, I compiled environmentalism, space, coding, my hobbies, favorite classes, and even my goal salary + free time to find what I was looking for. From there I made a mass list of possible jobs and how aligned they were to me, and narrowed them down after that. That’s how I found my dream career. For me research was the key, but it might not be for you. It’s not an easy task to try and figure out what path to take, especially one that will alter your life. There’s no stress in being unsure, there’s still plenty of time to figure out what you want to do.

You can apply undecided if you are unsure about what you want to do. Most schools allow that option.
