Office Assistant - is it considered a leadership role ?

Hi

In my school catalog, the Office Assistant elective is listed as leadership role.

Is it really considered as leadership role by colleges ?

Thanks

Office Assistant is a similar role to Administrative Assistant. Administrative assistants possess many leadership qualities such as the ability to bind a company together and maintain its fluidity. With this, I believe colleges will think this is a leadership role, but I can see why some others do not believe that it is. However, you should list it as a leadership role on your application because ultimately, it is up to your college admissions department to decide if it is.
