Hi, next year, for my senior year of high school, I plan on taking 6 ap classes, government, stats, calc ab, english lit, psychology and physics. So far I've only taken 4 ap classes and have a gpa of 3.9, unweighted. I was wondering if taking this many ap classes for senior year would increase my chances into a college, say UW for example, significantly or just by a little?
Hey! I think any effort towards taking more AP classes would help to increase your chances. While they may not consider your senior year GPA as much due to the applications being completed in the first semester of senior year, they still see what courses you are taking. They like to see you challenging yourself, and therefore making you a more competitive applicant :)
Ok, thank you!
