Extracurriculars for MIT.

Hey my is Yajat Pal and I am from India currently studying in 11th grade in CBSE board. My question is that what extracurriculars should in my last 2 years of high school so that I could get admission in MIT or other prestigious schools. In my area, not many people know about MIT so I seriously need some guidance. If anybody have some suggestions please reply to this as soon as possible.

Thanks.

Hi @YajatPal!

In an area where not many people know about MIT, it will presumably be hard to find a lot of extracurricular opportunities. Extracurriculars are just hobbies where you show significant interest and commitment. If you're living in a rural area, you can start a literacy campaign or take up a similar social cause to demonstrate leadership. You can also tutor locally. I'm not sure what opportunities are available to you in sports, but if you like a sport and are good at it, that will count. One thing you can do is search for online extracurriculars like coding (if you're interested in computer science) or something related to your field of interest.

Hope this helps!
