Few APs- Problem for top schools?

Hi!

My school is a small private school, that only offers 5 AP classes. I am taking AP World History online right now, but will probably only take one more online class, resulting in a total of 6 AP classes by the end of senior year. What else should I do to show that I am challenging myself academically? Is it enough that I am taking the hardest classes my school offers?

Hey! If your school only offers five AP classes and you take all of them, they're going to know that you made the most out of your courseload (especially since you're taking an online AP class). Colleges would favor a person that was offered 5 AP classes and took all of them than a person that was offered 20 AP classes and took 5. This should be enough, so don't worry!

I'm in a similar situation. To my knowledge, my school only offers 1 or 2 AP classes, and only one which isn't just an AP test tacked onto a regular course. I'm concerned that admissions won't realize just how close the situation is and will discount my application entirely.
