What is the process?
Answered

I am a sophomore and I have had many questions about the process. Do you start the application process junior or senior year? Is there any way to boost your GPA before application season? What is usually recommended to have for applications? I would really like to know the answer to some of my questions so that I know what to expect next year and also bring my GPA up. My GPA is also a 3.4 and I am currently taking dual credit classes as well.

Application process typically begins summer and fall of your senior year, but your last chance to bring your GPA up is really the second semester of 11th grade. Applications should be accompanied with letters of recommendation, essays, transcripts, etc. The only way to boost your GPA is by going out there next year and killing it, which with your motivation, I’m sure you can do. It’s good your starting to ask these questions early—good luck from a junior!
