how do i make my college essay stand out?

im writing about reading and books and how they helped with my depression and how i formed connections with fictional characters and how this helped me expand my communication skills with real people (in a nutshell) but anyway, I'm just looking for advice because i want to mic drop with my essay

yes! i submitted a few drafts and got great peer review feedback. i will finish my latest draft soon! however, i can’t post it on here i can only post it on the peer review community thing which is anonymous so ig u just have to stay turned haha. i can comment on here when i post it so u would know, if that helps?
