Acting Schools

Hi everyone! I want to apply to schools for acting but I’m not sure 1. what the best schools are, and 2. how to make myself stand out. I have decent grades and my SAT/ACT scores aren’t phenomenal, but I’m wondering if there are any tips for how to make my application stand out with extracurriculars or volunteering?

are you a part of an acting company? if so, do you have any relevant awards for acting in such company? if you aren't, that's one thing i would probably get on asap, as well as becoming apart of your school drama/acting club/classes if you aren't!

schoolwise, there's obviously julliard, although difficult to get into and pricey, but if you're talking realistically, it might be easier to know what states you're leaning towards. i hope this helped a bit!!!
