Extracurriculars/Community Service

As an international student wishing to apply to college in the US, my school doesn't offer much in terms of extracurriculars or community service. What would be a way for me to find these opportunities whether online or in my own area?

Hi @Marianaespinal,

I would suggest you start exploring the activities related to your interests. Then, you can start from the basics such as taking part in competitions coinciding with your interests.

Gradually start your own club or a passion project related to your interests.

In order to start off, you can look for organizations already working in the field and work with them.

These are the strategies I myself used, my school also didn't offer activities so I created my own.
