Schedule change?

Hi, I'm in 11th grade, and I was planning on changing my schedule because it was getting kind of overwhelming (and only 2 weeks of school has passed, so that's concerning.) I go to a school with a 4 by 4 schedule, and we also have rotating classes. Here is my current schedule: Academic decathlon, APUSH and AP Lang (rotating), another required class, AP Bio, and AP Calc AB. After school I do a sport for two hours. I am also the vice president of a club, and volunteer at the hospital every week for 2 hours. I got the opportunity to be part of the Student Site Council (I am not sure if I'll make it), but with my current schedule that would end up being too much. I am planning on getting rid of Academic Decathlon. Is that a good idea?

What's student site council? Is that the same as regular student council?

first you're amazing and base on this post if you can be in Academic decathlon then you'll get into the Student Site Council. But I do agree on getting rid of Academic decathlon. Another option you can do is only volunteer for the summer if you still want to be in the Academic decathlon.
