Hi! I'm a senior, and I started early college this past summer and will be continuing into the year. All in all, it's been a great experience. I'm doing it online through a community college and will finish my associate's one year or so after I graduate, which shaves off a year towards my bachelor's. The college gives greatly reduced tuition for county residents, so I am paying around $100 per credit plus an online learning fee. Super financially manageable and I am still eligible for all college scholarships, grants, etc. I haven't applied for those yet but I will for the coming semester. I didn't find the classwork that different from high school, to be honest. Learn a topic, research, discussion posts and papers. Really not that bad and not a terrible time commitment (I did eight credits last semester and balanced that with a job and two 12 hour days working in a hospital an hour away and I was fine:) I think it's really a great idea.

Best of luck!
