Extracurriculars/Volunteer Hrs-- How can I find opportunities that don't require a huge time commitment?
Answered

I feel like I don't have enough extracurriculars right now- what should I do? Currently, I work for a youth health advisory committee in my city government, dogsit, and volunteer at my school events. The first one's strong but I know I need more. Besides that I'm taking a lot of AP's and I don't have a ton of spare time between work and school. Any suggestions on decent opportunities that aren't a huge time commitment would be appreciated :)

To me, you have a great amount of extracurriculars, but if you want to get more, see if your school has a key club. They provide students with opportunities to volunteer, and these are normally one-time. If you don't have time to attend the meetings, I know that if there is a bake sale or fundraiser, the time you use to make baked goods can count toward your volunteer hours as well!
