Marine Biology in College

Right now I have a 3.5 GPA and was wondering if anyone would be able to tell me if I would be good enough to do marine biology in college. I also do sports and volunteer a pretty good amount of my time.

Hi! It really depends on the university you are trying to go to. Admission to college depends on a variety of factors, including the competitiveness and student body of the specific university you want to attend.

If you are interested in attending a highly competitive university, you'll need more than a 3.5 GPA and volunteer hours. These schools receive a large number of applications from exceptional students with exceptional portfolios.

On the other hand, if you are interested in attending a less competitive university, a 3.5 GPA, being an athlete, and some volunteer hours may be sufficient to gain admission.
