Effect of Grades

HEYYYY

So I have barely passed math with a d my freshman and sophomore year... but I am currently passing with a 100... do you guys think that will bring my GPA up

- because really math was the only thing dragging my GPA DOWN

It's great that you're getting such a good grade in math, after struggling with it previously. That will probably bring your GPA for this year up a lot compared to previous years, but it won't have a very big effect on your cumulative GPA. If your school lets you retake classes over the summer, you could retake the math classes you got D's in, which would help a lot as long as you can pass those classes again with a higher grade. I know that at my school, someone retook a class they got a B in because they were trying to be valedictorian lol.
