in state or out state

hi I'm having a hard time picking colleges should I stay in state(Texas) I would know a lot of people or should I go out of state (Oregon)?

I think it could depend on what major you want to pursue. I know that many schools in Texas have amazing music programs since I plan on majoring in music. I also know that there are some really good liberal arts colleges in Oregon (Reed College, Lewis and Clark College), if you're interested in that. It can help you narrow down your list of potential colleges to look up good colleges for whatever major(s) you're thinking of.

depends on your major tbh but going out of state gives you a chance to meet new people and new connections trust me some of those people you know may not always be there forever pick the choice you really want and which school is best for your major.
