National Merit Cutoff
I got my PSAT/NMSQT back today and I did pretty well. My NMSC selection index was a 222. For most states I think I’d be a lock for National Merit Semifinalist, but I don’t know if that’s the case in Massachusetts. Does anyone know if an NMSC selection index of 222 will make me a National Merit Semifinalist in Massachusetts?

Collegevine says the cutoff is 220 for your state; I think you have a chance!

Hi! According to a website called compass prep, the projected cutoff score for Massachusetts' NMS is 222.
