Should I do all required and optional letter of rec for college?

One of my schools requires 2 teachers 1 optional and 2 other optional recommenders. I could put all 5 but I heard they might not read them all. Should I just use 4? My fifth one is not as strong as my other four.

It depends on what you mean by 'not as strong'. Did the person who wrote the optional letter say anything bad about you? Or did they just say things like "This student is pretty good" while the other letters said things like "This student is absolutely AMAZING and they work so hard and are the smartest person in the WHOLE WORLD and you should DEFINITELY let them into this prestigious university blah blah blah." IMO you should still include the weaker one as long as it doesn't say anything bad about you lol
