Extracurriculars
Answered

Hi I'm Vanessa, like most people on here I'd like a second opinion on my extracurriculars. I don't know if everything i'm putting down below counts as an extracurricular, I'm also going to put hobbies that would be included in my student resume because collegevine allows for it. I feel like i was really lacking as I didn't have any serious club involvement until this year, let me know ?

-founded a nonprofit newsletter to inform people of their rights

-Model UN member

-Law Honor Society prospective officer (TBA official position for senior year)

-gaming club activities coordinator 1 year

-gaming club president 1 year

-GSA historian 2 years

-Bionomics(environmental but for the ocean) member

-volunteer at public library (3-9 hrs a week)

-marketing club member

-parttime job, worked approx. 150hrs

-book youtube channel with weekly posts

-currently writing a book of short stories

-painting for 8 years, 5 of which were oil paint

Wow, you've got a lot you're doing! I think you've got a great list with a variety of extracurriculars. It's a good mix of what you've been doing for a long time, volunteering, your own "businesses", and your interests. You've got an extracurricular list longer than most high schoolers. (And yes, it all counts as extracurriculars.)

Hope that helps! :D
