How Do I Raise My GPA?
Answered

Hey yall, I need some advice. I am currently a junior with a 3.12 GPA, and I'm trying to raise it as high as I can before I graduate (May 2025). I am in an honors chemistry class this year, and I excel at English and History (100 in English and 98.43 US and AZ history). I tend to struggle in math, it's my lowest grade at a 75 percent. I really want to get my GPA higher as I know a lot of colleges look at that, and I want the best chances I can possibly get so I can achieve my dreams. Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Hi @pvmpkin_pvppy!

Taking advanced courses (honors, AP, DE..) can really raise that GPA. I am taking online community college classes starting this semester, which not only raises my GPA but proves that I can handle college-which is what admission officers want to see. Also, I have it coordinated so that I will knock out over a year of gen ed credits, meaning I can get my bachelor's in under 3 years (this is b/c my cc and the university have direct agreements)!

I also do better in english and history over math. I recommend getting some peer tutoring if the math grades are getting low.

Keep doing your best :) You've got this!
