Choosing a certain path

I am a Junior in Highschool. I am stuck in a dilemma of deciding if I should go to a Tech school and get a trade and earn some money almost as a side, which my high school will pay for. Or go to a university for a degree that I like. It is a difficult decision and just not trying to regret a decision. Another thing that adds more weight to my decision is that I am applying for a scholarship that will pay for 2 years' worth of tuition.

Hey, @RaceCarButItsBackwards, most people would choose a Tech school where your high school will pay. Others would go to a university for a degree. If it works for you money wise I would try to do the university for a degree that you like. Thinking about the future can be extremely stressful; but you need to look beyond your college years. Like would you be more happy when your 30 to be in Tech school and earning money in which you may not like the profession or pick a degree that you like and be happy with what your doing. Not saying you can not be happy with the tech school, but go with your gut and pick which one will make you happy. Yes money is great to get, but money cannot buy happiness. In both areas, your still find a good job and earn money. Sure, it may be harder for you to work up to where you want with the degree of your choice, but you'll have more options and more control of what you want to do! This is all what you want! Do not let others control your future; trust your gut. Do what makes you happy! I believe in you! Keep pushing!
