Computer Science vs. Software Engineering

Hi! I am currently a junior in high school and I am having trouble deciding if I should major in Computer Science or Software Engineering. My ultimate goal is to become a software engineer, however I do not know which major would be most beneficial for my career path.

Any advice is greatly appreciated!!

This may actually depend on the school you choose to attend; I looked into school with similar programs for my major (completely unrelated to computer science) and they were all different! Colleges want their programs to be distinct to promote their competitive stance, so check out each individual college program. I found the one that would fit me best by looking at the internships, classes, and hands-on experience provided. It may be possible that you would want to major in computer science at one school and software engineering if you went to another. It's all about the program specifics!
