A levels compared to US system???

Hello. I am an international student taking the As level exams this summer. My dream is to go to a very good uni in the US. Are the A levels seen as easy compared to the american system? And are international students disfavored?

Yes, the majority of the US goes by letter grading. It can differ from place to place but for me its:

A+ : 100-98

A : 97-93

A- : 92-90

B+ : 89-87

B : 86-83

B- : 82-80

C+ : 79-77

C : 76-73

C- : 72-70

D+ : 69-67

D : 66-63

D- : 62-60

F : 59-0

It may vary from different GPA systems, but here is one of them

A 90-100% 4.0

B 80-89% 3.0

C 70-79% 2.0

D 60-69% 1.0

F 59 and lower 0.0
