I'm not taking that many hard classes next year. Is that okay?
Answered

To preference I'm taking dual enrollment U.S. History and AP Lang but next year my classes are going to be AP Gov, AP Lit, consumer math since I'm not that good at math, leadership for one semester, and Econ the next. Hopefully I get onto board for ASB because that will add an extra class but I'm a little worried.

That is perfectly fine! you dont need to overwhelm yourself with a bunch of hard classes. Are you going to be a junior or senior next year?

Honestly, it depends on the classes you have previously taken. If you have multiple AP, Honors, or dual enrollment classes you should be fine. Your temporary GPA won't be as weighted, but to be honest it sounds like you don't really need it to be. A big thing people are doing now is pressuring us all to take so many AP and weighted classes because "otherwise you won't get into a good college" but that is not entirely true. Just come across as confident and knowledgeable in your applications, and you should be fine. Not that weighted classes don't help ;). You sound like you have it mostly under control, though. Lemme know if you have any more questions!
